Rhonda_AboutThe unconditional love that my dogs show me is priceless. No matter how I am feeling, my dogs are there to greet me, hang out with me and generally be as near as possible physically. Because they make me so happy, I want to return the favor and make them happy.

Dogs are our family members. They deserve to eat the way we feed our families. That includes dessert!

I love to bake. I’ve been to cooking school and I thoroughly enjoy preparing food for people and dogs.  The slow food movement is important and The Dogs Bark shops locally grown whenever possible. For myself and my family I think all dessert needs to be “calorie worthy” or why bother eating it. No mass produced boxed 2 year shelf life stuff for any of my loved ones. Fresh and home baked is the preferred choice.

No unnecessary ingredients go into these gourmet treats. My dogs have very discerning taste and they all woof them down whenever they’re offered. Even my snooty little dog with very discerning taste loves these treats.

Because they are preservative free, please consider storing the way you would your own fresh baked desserts. Refrigeration is recommended for maximum freshness.

Always baked fresh from my kitchen to yours.

Because my treats are made without meat or meat by products, they are also a favorite of my chickens.

We make our treats in two sizes:

BARKS – are for our big dogs

BITES – are for our smaller family members. BITES are also a perfect size to use as training treats.

Both Barks and Bites sizes are sold in 8 oz. boxes.

The products will be available via our website where you can order on-line. We will be attending local farmers markets and coming soon is THE DOGS BARK Food truck! You can follow our comings and goings on Facebook and Twitter.
